Additional information can be found at the Society's Diversity Policy.

Theme-Related Content Encouraged
ISPOR is interested in content related to the conference theme Emerging Frontiers and Opportunities: Special Populations and Technologies. Abstracts featuring the interest areas, as described in the theme overview below, are encouraged:

In recent years we have seen how rare diseases, digital therapeutics, personalized medicine, cell and gene therapy, and other new therapeutic approaches have stretched our data and methodological capabilities. Furthermore, issues associated with these special populations and technologies have important implications for a range of healthcare decisions, from regulatory pathways to coverage and reimbursement to shared clinical decision-making. At ISPOR Europe 2021 we will feature HEOR scientists and stakeholders working on these key challenges towards innovative solutions and progress in the HEOR discipline, as well as demonstrate how partnerships and dialogue with other disciplines are contributing to these solutions.

COVID-19 Related Content

The continuation of the COVID-19 pandemic provides many opportunities for HEOR researchers to analyze its effects on individuals, health care, and society. ISPOR welcomes abstracts relating to treatments, vaccines, and other interventions, as well as other health care issues resulting from the pandemic – for example the impact of deferred healthcare for non-COVID issues. Areas of interest include but are not limited to: Economic Evaluation - and its use in healthcare decisions; Modeling, both disease and economic; and COVID specific Clinical Outcomes Assessment including Patient Centered Research; impact on data ‘quality’ due to skewed patient interaction with the healthcare system.
