NOTICE RELATING TO US GOVERNMENT "SHUTDOWN" AND ABSTRACT SUBMISSIONS:

The Society values the participation of US government employees in ISPOR conferences. We recognize that the US government shutdown may be affecting government employees' ability to submit abstracts or to be included on submitted abstracts for ISPOR 2019 scheduled for May 18-22, 2019 in New Orleans, LA.

  • Abstracts submitted before the January 16, 2019 deadline may be submitted including any participating US government employees by noting their participation as "preliminary" at the end of the proposal title.
  • US government employees on furlough who would like to submit an abstract after the January 16 deadline should contact ISPOR at presentations@ispor.org to discuss.

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS

All abstracts must be submitted through ISPOR's online abstract system via the appropriate button on the right side of this page.

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION CHECKLIST

We strongly urge you to compose your proposal initially in your favorite word processor. Check the spelling, and make sure that your proposal, excluding the title, moderator or panelists, contains no more than 300 words. You will be asked for an e-mail address or alternate contact information for all presenters, and you will not be allowed to complete the abstract submission until you have provided that information.

  • Have you titled your proposal?
  • The use of tables and graphs in your research abstract, issue panel proposal or workshop proposal submissions are not allowed.
  • Generic names should be used for technologies (drugs, devices), not tradenames.
  • Research presented at a previous ISPOR meeting is not allowed.
  • A research abstract, that was submitted to another meeting and copyright transferred, is not allowed.
  • Multiple abstracts on the same study are discouraged.
  • Has your proposal been presented at a prior meeting?
  • Have you and your co-authors conformed to all the 2019 proposal policies and procedures?
  • Do you indemnify ISPOR from any claims arising from this material?
